Is it wrong that i use a saw to cut the rings rather than a snip type
cutter? I find there is far less waste and all the ends line up flat. I
started making them for chain mail type work and am now looking into silver
work as well.
hi! Quick question..If I want to solder 14/16 gauge sterling silver (round,
half-hard) wire… should I use medium or hard paste solder? It’s all a
little confusing to me…Thank you :)
Cc WOW! Simply Spectacular…Thank You so much!
Superb video just amazing. Still having a hard time believing such an
amazing tutorial is free. Thank you very much
Brilliant tutorial. Thank you very much.
Oops…. needed to wait 2 min.. You just answered my question: sterling
silver wire. Thanks anyway! You’re inspiring the heck out of me!
Hello, awesome video so far! I’m learning a ton and I’m only 26 min. in!
Maybe you’ll be saying it shortly, or maybe I missed it, but when you say
your rings are 18 gauge silver wire, what kind of silver is it? I am new
to all of this. I just watched a different beaducation video (also
wonderful!) on making your own ball head pins. In it, she used fine silver
wire. I can’t wait to try soldering (once I buy all the tools/materials &
watch again…. and again)!
what else could be said………excellent.
Hello I love your videos they are very easy to follow but I am still having
problems soldering I am using materials that are not silver but are able to
be soldered I am using a micro torch and all the products that are required
yet I can’t seem to get the solder to work. What are your suggestions? Also
can you make your own bezel wire and if so what do you recommend and where
would I purchase the necessary materials for this.
Thank you
Lorri

Thank you so much! Wish u were here in PA.
What is the advantage to soldering vs. fusing the pieces together via
melting the metal and having it join itself? Is soldering stronger or
easier or ?
